Learning Objectives:

After completion of the presentation, the participant will be able to:
  • Understand the role of the fallopian tube in ovarian cancer and the rationale for risk reducing salpingectomy;
  • Review the uptake and safety data- short and long term- on risk reducing salpingectomy;
  • Be familiar with new directions and expanded opportunities including risk reducing salpingectomy in high-risk women and expansion in other surgical specialties.
